Sales Agents

The sales agent is an independent, verified and approved partner who promotes and facilitates the sale of products from other companies on the platform. They are not an employee, not a classic intermediary – they are an active collaborator who builds their income based on real performance.

8.1. Why is it beneficial for both parties?

For the agent:

Complete freedom – work with as many partners as you want
Access to multiple suppliers and product ranges
Real earnings from performance, based on commissions set by companies
Income proportional to effort – there is no cap

Benefits for companies

No internal sales teams – outsource the commercial function
Commission only if the agent actually sells
Expand the distribution network without fixed costs
Access to new markets through agent networks

8.2. How does it work?

The collaboration process between agents and companies follows five steps:

You apply – Create a company account on the platform, then access Settings → "Become a Sales Agent" and complete the application form.
You become active – After a pre-interview and data verification, your application is approved. You receive access to the agent module.
You connect companies – Search for companies in the "Discover Partners" section and send collaboration requests.
You see commissions – After connecting, you can see the company's products and associated commissions.
You generate orders – Initiate orders on behalf of your clients. The order is traceable, the commission is automatically generated upon completion.

8.3. Agent menu

After activating the agent mode, the sidebar changes and becomes dedicated to agent activity:

Client management – view the companies you collaborate with and their products.
Commissions – track generated commissions, with statuses and details.
Company request management – collaboration requests sent and received.
Notifications – notifications specific to agent activity.
News – information about the platform and campaigns.
My invitations – invitations sent and their status.

8.4. Company–agent collaboration

From the company's perspective: collaboration requests from agents appear in the "Agent Requests" section in the sidebar.

The commission is set at product level, from Tab 2 (Prices and Stocks) of the listing. Select "Yes, I work with an agent (recommended)" and enter the commission percentage: between 0.5% and 50%.

Legal recommendation: It is recommended to sign a collaboration contract with each agent, which should include: commission value, payment term, rights and obligations of each party, confidentiality clauses.

8.5. Commissions for agents

The "Commissions" section in the agent menu displays all commissions generated from intermediated orders. The page is organized by status tabs:

Pending – the commission has been generated but has not yet been processed.
Paid – the commission has been paid by the company.
Rejected – the commission has been contested.
Cancelled – the commission has been cancelled (e.g., the order was cancelled).

8.6. Who should apply?

The agent role is suitable for:

People with extensive networks
Professionals with B2B sales experience
Consultants who want to add an income source
Entrepreneurs who want to build a product portfolio without their own investment

8.7. Monitoring and recommendations

Companies can monitor agent activity from the "Agent Commissions" section.

Recommendations for a successful collaboration:

Work only with validated and verified agents
Set realistic and competitive commissions
Quickly confirm orders generated by agents
Provide constant and constructive feedback
Sign a collaboration contract

Frequently Asked Questions

Collaboration with sales agents is optional. You can sell directly from the Marketplace. However, enabling the commission for agents can accelerate sales.

Create a company account on the platform, then access Settings → "Become a Sales Agent". After completing the form and a pre-interview, the application is reviewed and approved.

Only agents connected and approved by the company. Regular buyers do not see the commission set for agents.

The company pays the commission directly to the agent, outside the platform. AgroTrading does not intermediate payments and does not retain any percentage.

The application enters the "Pending" state. You will be contacted for a pre-interview. After approval, you receive access to the agent module and the dedicated menu.

Common Issues and Solutions

The commission is visible but has not been confirmed by the company.

The commission appears with the "Pending" status until the company processes it. If it is delayed, contact the company through messaging for clarifications.

I am not sure about the collaboration status with a company.

Check the "Company request management" section in the agent menu. If your request has been accepted, the company appears in the client list. If not, send a message to the company.

The agent application has been pending for a long time.

The verification process can take several business days. If you do not receive a response within a reasonable time, contact [email protected] with the application details.
