NGOs and Donations

Legally registered and validated non-governmental organizations can actively participate in the AgroTrading ecosystem. The platform offers dedicated tools for both NGOs and companies that wish to contribute through donations.

9.1. What can NGOs do on the platform?

An NGO account provides access to dedicated features:

Publish donation initiatives and support requests
Search for partners and suppliers through the "Discover Partners" section
Participate in community initiatives and campaigns
Build a network of supporters and collaborators
Receive stock donations from companies

9.2. How companies collaborate with NGOs

Companies can actively contribute through several mechanisms:

Invite NGOs to the platform – send invitations to organizations you know.
Offer stock donations – mark existing stocks as available for donation.
Co-create CSR campaigns – joint publication of initiatives.
Publish initiatives – communicate social involvement through the feed and posts.

Stock donation process

The donation process follows these steps:

From the "Prices and Stocks" page of a product, access the "Options" menu of the desired stock.
Select "Donate stock".
The stock moves to the "Donation list" tab, where it becomes visible to NGOs in your network.
An interested NGO applies for the donation.
You choose which NGO to donate the stock to.
You communicate the delivery details through general messaging or a dedicated chat.
After completion, the stock moves to the "Donated stocks" tab.

9.3. Donation tabs in the Prices and Stocks page

Companies have access to two additional tabs in the stock management page:

Donation list – stocks marked as available for donation, visible to connected NGOs.
Donated stocks – stocks that have already been successfully donated.

Frequently Asked Questions

The account creation process is similar to that of a company: you receive an invitation, your account is created and you select the "NGO" type. After validation, you have access to the dedicated features.

After marking the stock for donation, NGOs in your network can apply. You decide which NGO to donate the stock to.

Access the "NGOs" section in the discovery module. You can search by name, field or location and send connection requests.

AgroTrading does not charge any commission on donations. The process is free.

Common Issues and Solutions

I marked a stock for donation, but no NGO has applied.

Make sure you have NGOs in your network. If not, invite organizations you know or discover NGOs from the dedicated section and send connection requests.

I cannot find the donation option.

The "Donate stock" option is found in the "Options" menu of each stock, from the "Prices and Stocks" page. The stock must be active.

The donated stock does not appear in the Donated stocks tab.

The stock moves to the "Donated stocks" tab only after the complete donation process is finalized. Until then, it remains in "Donation list".
